CYANOTYPE & ANTHOTYPE WORKSHOP                                                                                


Carrier Bag Collective’s very first skill share workshop was held in Trinity Bellwoods Park in Fall 2022! This free, public workshop was faciliatated by collective member Liz DeCoste and community member Iris Adrienne Langlois-Smith.

Participants were invited to create cyanotypes and turmeric anthotypes with prepared materials, and guided through the basics of the tumeric anthotype and cyanotype processes.  Participants were then encouraged to create their own prints with gathered natural materials or found items from the park.

Attendees went home with their prints and a zine with instructions for recreating the processes at home!
